Madame Zuzu’s is a local plant-based teashop in Highland Park, Illinois, owned and operated by musician Billy Corgan, founder of the grammy-winning Smashing Pumpkins, and fashion designer Chloe Mendel. Madame Zuzu’s combines insanely delicious plant-based foods, rare teas of the world, and an open source venue for the arts. Funnier by the Lake Comedy is one of Zuzu’s most popular events! Launched in 2017, The Comedy Nosh is one of the Chicago suburbs’ favorite live stand-up comedy events. After an uplanned hiatus–thanks for nothing, pandemic–the “Nosh” made its triumphant return in February of 2022.
Located in Northbrook, Illinois at Ariella’s Event Space, the recent addition to Max and Benny’s Restaurant Deli Bakery, the “Nosh” brings a real Chicago comedy club experience to the suburbs. All of the comfort and laughs, without the schlep and cost of heading into the city!
The May 2nd “Nosh” includes nationally touring comedian Ken Garr (Zanies; Improv; Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club Las Vegas) and special guest comedians!!
